A Beautiful Day at Pistolet Bay Provincial Park

We’re always excited to find a playground, but a playground with a view is even better!

With a two-person spring rider, a seesaw, and a slide, the playground had plenty to keep us busy.

With temperatures breaking the 60F (16C) mark for the first time on our trip, the younger Fives wasted no time getting in the water.

A woodpecker apparently not bothered by the racket we were making.

Places to recycle are hard to come by in northern Newfoundland, so we were excited to see that at least campers at Pistolet Bay have it easy.

This does seem like a nice safe spot for a moose to graze, right next to the No Hunting sign.
