A Glimpse at Glacier

We have been looking forward to visiting Glacier National Park for many years now and we are happy to report that this is one National Park that does not disappoint. After just a few days in the park we have experienced breathtaking views in every direction and seen an abundance of wildlife including black bear, moose, deer, and big horned sheep. We are excited to post more about our adventures in Glacier National Park in the coming month but for now here is a glimpse at our first full day in the park.

Gorgeous mountain views around every bend in the trail.

Watching a heard of Big Horn Sheep from the trail and then meeting up with them on the road home as they made their way up the mountain for the night.

    • The snow on the mountains is fresh from the past couple weeks. There’s been a fair amount of rain just during the few days we were here, and even some sleet has reached the ground. It’s exciting to think that what we’ve seen here at Glacier might be just a preview of the wildlife we might see at Yellowstone when we visit next year 🙂
