Street Art

San Cristóbal de las Casas is known as one of the most colorful cities in Mexico, and we have certainly enjoyed seeing the Spanish colonial architecture and beautiful, bright embroidered clothing of the Tzotzil and Tzeltal people. However, we have equally enjoyed the unexpected flash of color as we walk down a street and see a huge mural covering an entire building. Here are a few snapshots of the lesser known colors of San Cristóbal hidden among the downtown streets.
